PROCEDURE

Vaginoplasty is performed as an outpatient surgical procedure and typically takes 1 to 2 hours.
During the procedure:
• Local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia is used
• Weakened vaginal muscles are repaired and tightened
• Excess tissue may be removed as needed
• Dissolvable sutures are placed to support healing

Patients return home the same day.
